COTEACHING AS A STRATEGY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPEAKING IN A1 LEVEL STUDENTS

Speaking is one of the most important productive skills of the English language, since through it we can communicate with people from other countries, so it is necessary to have an appropriate strategy that contributes effectively in the oral production of those who learn this important language. The general objective of this research was to know the influence on the development of the oral skill (Speaking) with the application of Coteaching in the A1 level English language class. In order to fulfill this objective, a qualitative and descriptive type of research was proposed with which by means of a questionnaire applied to teachers and students as an instrument of information collection, it was possible to determine that the joint work between the teacher responsible for the A1 level and a native Peace Corps teacher and the advantages of implementing this type of strategy within the classroom in which both teachers and students see the benefits that can be achieved with the application of planned activities and with the primary objective of achieving an effective development of the communicative part of the students. Among the most important advantages is the motivation generated among students, who see in Coteaching a different way of learning the language and that in activities such as role play they can actually see a real application of what they learn in the classroom.
