IMPORTANCE OF CIVIL LAW IN THE CONTEXT OF PUBLIC MANAGEMENT

Abstract

This document reviews the importance of Civil Law in the context of public management, focusing on its impact on administrative efficiency and transparency. Civil Law establishes an essential regulatory framework that regulates the interaction between the State and citizens, promoting fair and equitable governance. Through the regulation of public contracts, civil liability and the protection of rights, Civil Law ensures optimal management of public resources and an integral and responsible administration. The regulations on public contracts establish clear and transparent procedures, reducing opportunities for corruption and guaranteeing the efficient use of resources. The civil liability of officials and the State requires them to act diligently, increasing transparency and accountability. The protection of civil rights, through mechanisms such as amparo remedies, allows citizens to defend their rights against arbitrary actions by the State, strengthening public trust in institutions. Furthermore, the clarity of civil norms improves decision-making and facilitates conflict resolution, contributing to greater administrative efficiency. It is concluded that Civil Law is essential for effective and transparent public management, since it provides the necessary legal bases for a public administration that responds effectively to the needs of society and promotes citizen participation. The effective implementation of these regulations is crucial for the strengthening of democratic institutions and the continuous improvement of public administration.
