Abstract

Anxiety in transgender women is found in the mid-scale intervals, meaning that the strongest symptoms are in the muscular aspects, feelings of weakness and worries. On the other hand, resilience is found in average levels which indicates that this scale has not been affected in higher states of the study population.  The objective of this research is to relate anxiety and resilience to monitor clinical aspects of these people. According to the methodology used, three phases were applied, the first was the application of the HARS scale to measure anxiety levels, the second phase was the SV-RES test (Saavedra) in 2008, to determine the levels of resilience, and the third phase was through the application of google forms that allows the authentication of the results, to contrast the data, national leaders were interviewed about the problems presented during the COVID-19 emergency. The results indicate that transgender women had problems of mild anxiety, because according to the globalized results the level of anxiety is weighted in a frame of (4.82) with resilience in a general weighting (3.03), the standards have a margin of minimal differences and with the contrast of determination between the two is: 0.62. The relevance of this study is that transgender women had anxious symptoms due to confinement and that their main reason is the lack of attention by competent authorities of the governmental system.
