CAMBIO CLIMÁTICO Y LA COVID-19: RETOS PARA EL DESARROLLO DE UN TURISMO RESPONSABLE

Resumen

El objetivo que busca esta investigación es potenciar el desarrollo de un turismo responsable ante los retos que representan el enfrentamiento de los impactos asociados al Cambio Climático y la Covid-19. La revisión bibliográfica y documental, permitió construir el marco de referencia teórico y metodológico para este estudio, los métodos comparativos, descriptivo-explicativo, favorecieron establecer comparaciones entre diferentes posiciones de autores, así como, definir los criterios asumidos por el autor a lo largo del proceso investigativo. El análisis causal   para fundamentar las relaciones entre las variables de la investigación. El método matricial y el método cartográfico para modelar los impactos del Cambio Climático. La observación, entrevistas y encuestas para conocer nivel de percepción del riesgo y actualización del diagnóstico. La fundamentación de elementos que desde el enfoque estratégico de la dirección permiten establecer la articulación de acciones para el desarrollo de un turismo responsable ante los retos que representan el enfrentamiento de los impactos asociados al Cambio Climático y la Covid-19. El cambio climático y la Covid-19 constituyen retos para el desarrollo de un turismo responsable que implica un cambio y reorientación para el turismo. Las prácticas para su enfrentamiento han demostrado el valor de la acción integrada de toda la sociedad.  Desde estas perspectivas los elementos expuestos desde el enfoque de la dirección estratégica del riesgo pueden servir como herramientas para el desarrollo de un turismo responsable.

Abstract

To promote the development of responsible tourism in the face of the challenges of coping with the impacts associated with Climate Change and Covid-19. The bibliographic and documentary review allowed the construction of the theoretical and methodological reference framework for this study. The comparative, descriptive-explanatory methods favored establishing comparisons between different positions of authors, as well as defining the criteria assumed by the author when throughout the investigative process. Causal analysis to support the relationships between the research variables. The matrix method and the cartographic method to model the impacts of Climate Change. Observation, interviews and surveys to find out the level of risk perception and update the diagnosis. The foundation of elements that from the strategic approach of the management allow to establish the articulation of actions for the development of responsible tourism in the face of the challenges that represent the confrontation of the impacts associated with Climate Change and Covid-19. Climate change and Covid-19 constitute challenges for the development of responsible tourism that implies a change and reorientation for tourism. From these perspectives, the elements exposed from the strategic risk management approach can serve as tools for the development of responsible tourism.
