Por ello, el presente artículo tiene el objetivo de exponer las potencialidades de las carreras que se estudian en la Facultad de Construcciones de la Universidad Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz de Camagüey para contribuir a la mitigación de impactos ambientales en el centro histórico camagüeyano, con apoyo en la transdisciplinariedad. La metodología principal empleada para el reporte se basa en el análisis documental de planes de estudios y asignaturas que tratan la temática ambiental y las carreras, así como el plan de posgrado. Se ofrece información que contribuye al aumento de la percepción de riesgo y al accionar para el manejo de estas problemáticas, en función de preservar el patrimonio histórico-cultural. El estudio realizado muestra, la decisiva participación de los docentes y los estudiantes en las soluciones a escala local, las cuales constituyen potencialidades de las carreras en la dimensión ambiental sobre el patrimonio cultural.</p><p><strong>Palabras claves:</strong> zonas patrimoniales, dimensión ambiental, impactos ambientales, transdisciplinariedad.</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>The urban historical zones, which show the valuable legacy built of the traditional centralities, reveal the need for the university-society link, to face the environmental challenges, generated by natural and anthropic risk factors, which can endanger even the condition heritage of these sites. For this reason, this article has the objective of exposing the potential of the careers that are studied in the Construction Faculty of the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz University of Camagüey to contribute to the mitigation of environmental impacts in the historic center of Camagüey, with support in the transdisciplinarity. The main methodology used for the report is based on the documentary analysis of study plans and subjects that deal with environmental issues and careers, as well as the postgraduate plan. Information is offered that contributes to increasing the perception of risk and action to manage these problems, in order to preserve the historical-cultural heritage.
