Resumen

La corrupción es un gran desafío global implacable que ha sido implicado como la causa raíz de numerosos males sociales y económicos. La gravedad de este imperativo es innegable dada la reciente observación aleccionadora de que más del 80 % de la población mundial vive en un país con un problema de corrupción. Aunque se están realizando vigorosos esfuerzos para combatir la actitud y el comportamiento de la corrupción en el sector judicial todavía se caracteriza por la existencia de actos delictivos de corrupción generalizados y desenfrenados. Bajo esta premisa, el objetivo de esta revisión radica en recopilar diversas perspectivas académicas con referente al paradigma de lavado de dinero y la corrupción sectorial.

Abstract

Corruption is a major relentless global challenge that has been implicated as the root cause of numerous social and economic ills. The seriousness of this imperative is undeniable given the sobering recent observation that more than 80% of the world's population lives in a country with a corruption problem. Although vigorous efforts are being made to combat the attitude and behavior of corruption in the judicial sector, it is still characterized by widespread and rampant criminal acts of corruption. Under this premise, the objective of this review is to collect various academic perspectives regarding the paradigm of money laundering and sectoral corruption.
