Especialmente las medidas de aislamiento y limitación del contacto físico han requerido el confinamiento en casa de muchas personas por un tiempo prolongado, representando un cúmulo de situaciones estresantes, que pueden atentar contra la salud psíquica de las personas y afectar la capacidad resiliente de la sociedad. El objeto de la investigación son los familiares de las personas que han contraído la enfermedad del COVID 19 en la parroquia urbana Aníbal San Andrés del cantón Montecristi. El objetivo del trabajo consiste en descubrir situaciones novedosas, con un significado importante para la resiliencia de los familiares a partir de la situación creada por el impacto del COVID 19. El trabajo tiene un enfoque cuanti-cualitativo, es de tipo descriptivo-correlacional, para lo cual se empleó del método inductivo-deductivo como estrategia de razonamiento lógico, partiendo de utilizar premisas particulares para llegar a una conclusión general concreta sobre el tema que se estudia, usando los principios generales para llegar a conclusiones específicas. Se aplicó la encuesta para inventario de ansiedad de Beck y la Escala de Resiliencia SV-RES, con ello se logró medir el impacto psicosocial de los familiares de las personas contaminadas con el virus y estimar la relación que existe entre ansiedad y resiliencia.</p><p><strong>Palabras clave:</strong> Ansiedad postraumática, emergencia sanitaria, resiliencia familiar, estado de excepción, distanciamiento físico.</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>The consequences derived from the impact of the Coronavirus have generated in the population a very different life situation, which has represented assuming new habits of life and work, with a particular influence on the relatives of the people who have contracted the COVID 19 disease. The measures of isolation and limitation of physical contact have required the confinement of many people at home for a long time, representing a series of stressful situations that can threaten the mental health of people and affect the resilient capacity of society. The object of the investigation is the relatives of the people who have contracted the COVID 19 disease in the urban parish Aníbal San Andrés of the Montecristi canton. The objective of the work consists of discovering novel situations, with an important meaning for the resilience of family members from the situation created by the impact of COVID 19. The work has a quantitative-qualitative approach, it is descriptive-correlational, to which was used from the inductive-deductive method as a logical reasoning strategy, starting from using premises to reach a specific general conclusion about the subject under study, using general principles to reach specific conclusions.
